WHAT WE DO AND OUR POLICY FOR PATIENT CARE

The physiotherapy and sports injury clinic is based in the heart of Didsbury in South Manchester. There is ample parking close to the clinic as well as being on the main bus routes and the soon to open tram network.

We specialize in treating all injuries and joint pains including sports injuries. Our patients range from people with osteo-arthritis (OA), women's health issues including pain in pregnancy, musicians both amateur and professional, athletes including elite players. We liaise with consultants both NHS and private and see many patients pre and post operatively for a wide range of surgery including joint arthroscopies, joint replacement, spinal surgery, tendon release and ligament repair.

We help you achieve your sporting and day to day goals, manage and prevent further injury and also help you get back to work.

ASSESSMENT £45

We take a full hour to assess you, this gives us time to properly listen to your story and give as clear a differential diagnosis as possible. During the hour you have a full hands on assessment as well as getting going with treating the problem. Sometimes this may be all you need to get you going in the right direction.

TREATMENTS £37

Any subsequent treatments will last 30minutes. We are a hands on clinic and will use all our skills to get to the root of the problems along with designing a specific exercise and advice program. Each treatment we continually assess you and monitor your progress – if we find you need further investigation, we have all the contacts to guide you.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE £40/45 1hour or £25 half hour – ask for any offers.

The massage therapists are very experienced and talented and will identify problem areas as they work. The therapists treat a wide range of patients including pre and post event, injury prevention, postural muscle pain, ME, lymph drainage.

PODIATRY

This comes as a package at £250 although there is £30 off until the end of April 2010. The cost includes a full biomechanical assessment, gait analysis and muscle imbalance assessment. A bespoke cast will be made of your feet and a highly durable orthotic produced. A fitting of the orthotic takes place a week or two later with a review of how things are going a few weeks after that and any consequent visits to iron out any problems are all part of the price.
If you don't need orthotics we do have a price for just the assessment and gait analysis. £75
