Billie Hall MCSP HPC
Principal Physiotherapist & Centre Founder
Billie completed her physiotherapy degree in 1987. After working in the NHS for many years and working in America and Australia Billie returned to Manchester and founded The Village Physiotherapy and Sports injury clinic. Through extensive postgraduate training she has gained standards of excellence in treatment of sporting injuries, spinal pain and chronic pain. Her experience also help her understand and treat many professional musicians resident and touring in Manchester. Her versatility and experience has also allowed her to treat a wide range of sporting professionals, actors and other performers.
Billie is also a qualified ergonomist and works with many private and public sector companies comply with health and safety requirements and more importantly reducing absenteeism by recommending workstation changes.
Billie is now working to manage and develop the rapidly expanding Centre whilst maintaining the highest professional standards. She hand- picks only the best clinicians to work with her.
Ruth Stewart
Chartered Physiotherapist MCSP HPC
Ruth is a chartered physio but also has a degree in sports rehabilitation. Ruth graduated 2001 and has worked extensively in the field of musculo skeletal injuries.
Ruth is also a qualified ergonomist and puts this to full use when advising patients at the clinic as well as in the workplace.
Andy Wilkinson MCSP HPC
Andy is a chartered state registered physio as well as having a degree in sports rehabilitation Qualifying in both in 2001.
Andy is a top class athlete running 400m so is well aware of the demands on the serious and not so serious athlete.
Sarah Nutt MCSP HPC
Sarah qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 2001 and has since specialized in all aspects of musculoskeletal physiotherapy problems, including sports injuries. Sarah continues to work as a senior physiotherapist in the NHS as well as at the clinic, and is at present working as part of a highly specialized musculo-skeletal team. Sarah continues with extensive post graduate education and is incredible with shoulders.
Lindsey Lennon MCSP HPC
Lindsey Lennon qualified as a sports rehabilitator and physiotherapist in 2001 and has since specialized in all manner of musculo-skeletal problems including sports injuries and occupational problems. Lindsey has a history of involvement with local football clubs, dealing with injuries from pitch side to full rehabilitation. Lindsey is also qualified in therapeutic accupuncture.
Jade Elias
Jade graduated in 2003 and has since gained experience in the NHS and worked with national sports teams including being responsible for British waterpolo teams. Jade now works both at the clinic and for the English Institute of Sport and is very involved with UK squash teams.
Joanne Thompson
Jo graduated from Bristol University in 2003 with a physiotherapy honours degree. Since graduating Jo has specialized in all forms of musculo-skeletal physiotherapy including general aches and pains to sports injuries in elite athletes. Jo is also our resident hand and upper limb specialist. Jo is fully qualified and up to date with her accupuncture including accupuncture in pregnancy.
Tracy Liburd podiatrist BSc (Hons) M.Ch.S HPC reg podiatrist
Tracy is a very experienced podiatrist and treats all podiatry problems from children, flat feet afftecting back pain to elite UK athletes. . Various types of treatment are available: full assessment and production of custom made orthotics.
Juan Pardo manual therapist and sports masseur
Juan is a fantastic masseur and has a very big following, I suggest you book in advance for a treatment. Juan has many years experience in his field and deals with general aches and pains through to very complex problems.
Dawn O'Toole
Dawn has over 10 years experience as a masseur and massage teacher. Dawn specialises in all areas of holistic and sports therapy massage including pregnancy massage. For the pregnancy massage we have a special pregnancy pillow that allows you to lie on your front without compressing the abdomen. Dawn is particularly in demand for pre and post event massage and for this reason she gives a 10% discount on all 1hour treatments on Monday and Friday. Dawn also works on a Saturday morning.
NADIA MASON BSc (Nutr Med) MA mBANT CNHC
Nadia is a qualified nutritionist and has a degree in nutritioal medicine and is certified by the Nutritional Therapy Council.
Nadia is a very enthusiastic individual and determined to provide a gold star nutritional service in the area.
Conditions treated by Nutritional therapy include; digestive problems, stress and fatigue, weight loss, sports nutrition, skin conditions, women's health, pregnancy and fertility, children's health. www.discovernutrition.co.uk
